Still Life

In an anthropomorphic society, this genre is often overlooked in favor of portraiture – Basically, as a human audience, we like to look at ourselves. On the other hand, objects are often reified and portrayed with quasi-religious stature in commercial product photography. We tend to find fewer contemporary examples of still life in visual art/gallery culture than we do of portraits and landscapes. This project helped me learn how to control key light, fill light, and accent light.
